  Calis stated in frustration. Really Calis did not understand why Kingsly needed Sebastian to help him. Certainly, William was powerful enough to confront the Grim Reaper on his own. Sebastian was a mere butler. How was he supposed to defend the ridiculous red-haired man? It wasn’t as if Kingsly did not deserve some of this punishment.

  “I hope I will not be gone all day as well. I feel though that it is necessary for me to be there. I just hope I can help both Kingsly and William out. I don’t think you want Kingsly completely miserable daily. He will be completely inconsolable if he loses his scythe.”

  Sebastian dressed Calis into a nice pair of jeans, a pair of soft warm socks, a long-sleeved t-shirt, and his tennis shoes. Then he took Calis into the bathroom and fixed that wild hair.

  Heading towards the dining room Christian was awake helping Anne set the table while Ashton sat in his jeans and a blue turtleneck at the table waiting patiently for breakfast.

  Christian suddenly saw a flash of red in Sebastian’s pocket and smelled a very familiar smell making him instantly furious. If he was not allowed to have sex with Anne neither should Sebastian. As Sebastian went into the kitchen Christian immediately confronted him.

  “I thought Anne was not having sex with anyone. Why are you carrying a pair of her panties with her essence on them?”

  Christian asked angrily since he had been holding out from making love to his woman all because she said she wanted to wait for her and Sebastian’s wedding night. It seemed that either Anne had lied which was not like her or Sebastian did something Christian did not approve of as in possibly raping his woman.

Calis was pleased and thanked Anne for pouring it insisting that she now sit down to let the two butlers finish serving them as both Calis and Ashton stood up waiting for Anne to sit as was proper.

  Christian and Sebastian brought out breakfast and served everyone as Christian came over to Anne gently kissing her on the cheek.   Sebastian kept most of his thoughts to himself as he tucked in breakfast and watched to see if Calis liked the Eggs Benedict since it was something new he had created. Calis did not always like rich food and the hollandaise sauce was rather sweet and rich. Most people either loved hollandaise sauce or hated it. To Sebastian it was lovely, but Calis at first poked at the Eggs Benedict with his fork before cutting a piece then tasting it.

  Waiting with baited breath, Sebastian wondered if this plate of food was going to end up thrown in his face or pushed aside in distaste. Calis was very particular about his eggs and if they were not right he would definitely let Sebastian know it.

  Calis chewed the eggs taking his time to savor the flavor before he took another bite of them and Sebastian breathed easier. The boy was enjoying his breakfast which was good. Ashton however only ate two bites of the Eggs Benedict deciding it was much too rich for him. Christian then decided not to let the good food go to waste taking Ashton’s eggs onto his plate and offering Ashton some of his unfinished toast and another helping of hash browns.

  Ashton took the hash browns and
toast smiling happily. The boy enjoyed cooked potatoes and bread. Anne smiled at her boy and Christian since the two were so cute sharing their food enjoying the morning together. She also felt Christian was rather silly since Sebastian was not competition. Anne loved Christian and that would not change. Had Christian asked her to marry him, she would have and been happy to have his child. However, like Christian always did, he procrastinated and lost the opportunity to someone else.

  Sebastian was such a gentleman plus so very handsome that Anne was surprised the man wanted her for a wife. She knew that her relationship with Sebastian would be off and on since the man loved Calis. Also, Anne knew Sebastian would more than likely find other women to satisfy him since he was not one to settle just with one female. Anne knew that Sebastian was much too young to settle with her anyway.

  Christian was closer to Anne’s age and the two had a long history together. They had been as partners for many years and the passion that they shared when they gave into their feelings of lust rivaled that of any man Anne had been with.   When Christian was happy and had something he wanted, Christian was eccentric as well as enigmatic. He was also an amazing dancer and had a beautiful singing voice. Christian had made Anne for a long time feel like the luckiest woman in the world and was willing to do almost anything for him.

  However, when Christian used Anne to gain Ashton’s favor, she was then almost thrown away to only be used by Christian at his convenience. Anne accepted it was in a demon’s nature to be somewhat cold hearted and selfish so she had accepted Christian’s cold ways although when they had made love Christian always was a wonderful lover showing with his body what he could not reveal at times with his eyes. Anne never stopped loving Christian even when he stood idly by when she was tormented by Ashton.

  Christian knew Anne could heal herself, but it was obvious if she did Ashton would simply poke her eyes again damaging them so it was rather pointless to allow them to heal until Ashton came to understand Anne was not the one he should have felt animosity towards.

  Ashton had pretty much hated females other than Libby whom was Calis’s fiancé which he planned to woo and court if nothing else to piss off Calis.   As everyone finished breakfast, Sebastian helped Christian remove the dishes from the table to be washed. Anne got up and assisted with changing the flower arrangement on the table and gathered new taper candles replacing the old ones.

  Calis went immediately into the living room and started reading the newspaper. Then he would work on his online courses and he figured Christian would probably want him and Ashton to do music lessons. It was a given that they would most likely have music lessons today since both butlers seemed to enjoy torturing him.

  Christian went over to the table wrapping his arms around Anne then twisted her around kissing her passionately. He whispered in her ears promises for tonight and Anne sighed in happiness. She loved it when Christian was like this.

  Sebastian simply ignored the display and went over to Calis. He brought the tea pot over and poured Calis another cup of the tea before checking on Ashton to insure he was not fooling around, but actually doing his school work.

  Christian immediately went to work on the dusting and decided to wipe down everything as well as replace the table cloth adding a new runner as Anne went into the rooms to clear out the water basins then leave a pitcher with fresh water to pour into each basin once it was cleaned out. Then Anne worked on cleaning the bathrooms in each room of the house.

  Sebastian went to go help Anne since he did not wish for her pristine white clothing to be ruined and as he helped her clean he went over the duties of a lady. He also casually would slide his fingers over her hips or waist moving around her while scrubbing various areas of the room.

  When they finished, Sebastian led Anne to his sewing room where he showed her the ideas he had for the suits. He also asked she gather the measurements for Christian since he already had the measurements for himself, Ashton, and Calis. Sebastian also got Anne’s measurements enjoying himself immensely as he casually brushed her thighs with his fingers and her full bosom.

  Sebastian gently kissed Anne’s neck and nibbled her ear a bit before sending her out to measure Christian as he set up the sewing machine. Then he started cutting out the pattern he created to make the suits doing his best not to waste any fabric.

  There was a knock on the door and Christian went over to answer it since he was now in the middle of working on his computer creating a catalogue of recipes just as Sebastian had done.

  Opening the door, Christian saw William and a young man who was around eighteen years of age with sandy blonde hair and large brown eyes that looked a bit like Ashton. It was rather interesting to Christian although the boy looked angrily at Christian like he wanted to murder him.

  “Christian this is Liam, Ashton’s little brother. As I said before, you have to get his approval before you can marry Ashton. It will probably take you the rest of your life to do so, but good luck with that.”

  William said flatly as he walked in and regarded the two boys who were busy although Calis looked exceptionally adorable trying to seem so grown up with his legs crossed and a newspaper opened wide.

  “Ashton your brother is here, but before you see him can you please gather Sebastian for me? It is time for us to leave.”

  William asked and Ashton excitedly got off his computer to go get Sebastian who was showing Anne what he wanted done and setting out all the patterns in order so if she got bored with sewing she could cut out the next suit. Sebastian also taught Anne how to work all the features of the sewing machine showing her the embroidery feature as well. He handed her the manual so if she had any questions she could find all the answers in the book and he also showed her where all his sewing supplies were at since everything was labeled for easy access.

  Anne easily figured out everything since she was good at sewing and had once had a foot pumping sewing machine that she used to sew up Ashton’s clothing as well as her own. She would also hand sew some of the pieces of these suits since she was rather fast with a needle and sometimes a machine could not do as good of work when it came to detailing.

  Ashton rushed into the sewing room to get Sebastian since he wanted to get back to spend time with his brother. Ashton had not seen Liam in what seemed to be ages.

  “William is here Sebastian and he said he is ready to go. Please come so I can spend time with Liam.”

  Ashton begged since he did not want to wait.

  At Liam being mentioned, Anne about dropped her sewing. She would very much like to see Liam since she missed him terribly. Anne loved that boy as though he were her own child.

  “Come on Anne! Come see Liam too!”

  Ashton said tugging on Anne so she would hurry up. Sebastian chuckled at Ashton’s behavior since the boy was still such a child. He sincerely hoped Ashton would be able to spend the whole day with his brother. It would be good for him.

  Calis put his newspaper down long enough to talk with William and Liam getting to know Ashton’s brother a bit. Apparently, the young man was going to see Ashton any time he desired other than during his training which usually was only a few hours a day. Today was special though so William said Liam could spend the whole day with his brother since h
e knew how much Liam wanted to be with Ashton. Besides, Liam had been doing exceptional in his courses and William really hoped Kingsly would consider taking this young man as a protégé since he had such potential to be a good reaper.

  Ashton rushed into the room with Sebastian and Anne in tow as Anne rushed over to Liam giving him a big hug.

  “Liam my darling little boy, how are you?”

  Anne asked since she was so happy to see him. Liam smiled and hugged Anne back since he loved this woman dearly.

  “I am doing well. I really enjoy reaping and have been learning so much. It seems at times to be a rather gruesome task, but the life records are so very interesting. We get to see all sorts of things about a person’s life and collect them as well as their souls. Then we get to decide if they go to heaven or hell.’

  “The original Grim Reaper also came into our class giving some of us the approval to go out and actually do some work. I was picked first and although the Grim Reaper is kind of scary he is also very nice.’
